The Dividers Gallery offers you a wide selection of dividers to work with. These dividers are used to separate various
sections of you pages from others. For example, you have a section of a page devoted to your dog and a section devoted
to your cat. Of course, you'd want these two separated from each other. This is where dividers come into play.

Like all other galleries in Web Studio, you simply drag a divider out of the gallery and drop it on your page. Now you
know just about everything you need to know about dividers. We'll also share some tips on how to work with dividers
to make things easy on you and to enhance your pages in a few ways you may not have thought of.

Tips for Working With Dividers

Some dividers are very thin. This can make working with them difficult when
you want to move them, resize them, etc. Here's a tip.
|
|
Click on the divider you want to work with. When you do, the selection
handles will appear. Double click on a handle and the Properties dialog comes
up. Increase the Height of the divider by typing in a number from 10 to 20 then
click the OK button.
|
|
This makes the divider bigger so you can get a handle on it. Once you're done
moving it, simply double click on it again and type it its original height and click
OK again. See below.
|
|
You can also use the Special FX Gallery to rotate dividers to make vertical
lines, flip them to change the direction of their colors or patterns and more.
Use your imagination!

We just dropped this divider on the page
to separate the Using section from the
Tips section.

We just dropped this divider on the page
and Rotated it with the Rotate Special FX
to make it a vertical divider. We did this to
separate the tip on the left from the
narration on the right.

Dividers can be used at the bottom of
your page as well.
