Create a beautiful page in Web Studio and send it as an email to an individual or to thousands of people from your customer list. Web Studio makes easy work of it, handling all the hard and confusing parts and letting you concentrate on your visual message and who you want to see it. Use this feature for product announcements, newsletters, and more!

Even Easier Links

The new Add/Edit Links dialog enables you to add new links directly to an object or selection of text as well as edit existing links in objects or text. You can add any of the available types of links with this dialog: Site links, Anchors, URLs, Downloads. It will also show you anchors associated with an object or text.

Easily Add Text to Any Button

Greatly simplify your site creation with editable text in buttons, any button. Any non-rollover button dragged from the Button gallery now brings up the Button Studio dialog. This dialog enables you to add editable text to your buttons. You can also change the font, style, size, and color of the text. Once a button is on your page, just double click on it to change any of those properties.

Is Web Studio compressing your graphics too much, just set it to whatever level you want with the new compression feature. You can even set it to zero to maintain the visual quality of your best work. 

Need to change a slide in a slide show, extend the date on an online sale? You can now take apart Animations and Rollover buttons to insert new graphics or change their order or how fast they animate. And then you can put them back together again.

Your Frame pages are now easily identified in the Page List with unique icons for the header, navigation and footer pages.

The Frame Properties dialog is now much smarter than it was. No more mistakes leading to weird problems on your site. The Frames dialog checks all of your settings and if it finds they they will lead to problems, it will tell you and not let you apply them.

Any button in the gallery can be a Rollover with a drag and drop. Add text to any button with the new Any Button is a Rollover.

Enhancements to the gallery's enable you to create sub-galleries inside any graphics gallery. Add a sub-gallery to MyStuff and load it with the graphics for your latest site.

You can Delete Sub-Galleries. Finished with your latest site, delete the MyStuff sub-gallery and free up some space.

Add new Categories to the Links gallery. Organize your gallery around sites, or clients, or...

Move between galleries and sub-galleries easier with a simple double click to enter and a double click to pop-back-up.

You can add Templates to the Templates gallery. And you can add Sub-Galleries. Use them to organize your templates with the sub-gallery containing all of the templates for your latest site.

You can save individual Pages to disk and load them back in. Share pages with friends, clients, associates. Use them as page Templates by adding them directly to the Templates gallery.

The PageList has been greatly enhanced with the new PageList menu.

Reorganize the page list by moving page names where you want them.

Rename pages easily and quickly with the Rename dialog in the menu.

Choose your home page by choosing Home Page on the menu.

Delete a page without opening it, in cases where a page is corrupted.

Add the current page to the Templates gallery.

Close all pages with a single click.

Quickly see your Frames page with the new Frame icons in the PageList.

Quickly get to many frequently used commands such as Save Page to Internet, Preview Page, Add New Page, duplicate Page, Page Properties and more.

Drop any Special FX onto a group of selected objects and they all get the FX. Select 20 photographs and make them all Thumbnails with one click. Boost the color saturation, or rotate a group all at once.

Smarter Thumbnails

Thumbnails, if necessary, automatically resize and resample the full size graphic to fit within an 800X600 browser window.

If you resize, but don't resample a graphic, Web Studio will resample it to the new size automatically for you.

Web Studio 4.0 can read any animated GIF from disk and display it correctly on your site.

Animated GIFs

If you add HTML to WebStudio's built in objects or if you write you own with the HTML Object, the new HTML editor will ease those tasks. The editor's window is resizable, and its capacity has been increased to 250K...more than enough for any page! And it has a convenient command to add "New/ to your HTML.

Add Anchors to selections of text. Make your own MyLinks categories to help you organize multiple sites. Download Links enable you to add files to your site that users can download. Use them to view PDF files, PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, just about anything!

New & Improved Links

You can now change the color of the unvisited, hover-over, and visited text link colors on a page by page basis. You can turn underlining on or off.

Visual Control of Links

The Object Properties dialog now enables you to proportionally resize objects numerically. This lets you resize objects to fit a certain space without distortion and without using the mouse.

You can also Resample Graphics that are resized in the properties dialog. Or, you can resize them without resampling.

Quick and Easy Site Wide Links

Any page can be part of the Cool Stuff Links, and any page can be removed from the CoolStuff Links, automatically. In addition, the order of the links in the CoolStuff links can be modified.

Search Engine Optimization

Improve your Search Engine Rankings by optimizing your pages. New file naming rules allow more relevant names, HTML Headings for your important keywords, new Page Based Meta Tags to tune each page on its own.

Automatic File Backups

Don't lose your Project to hard disk crash or corruption again. The Automatic Backup feature backs up your Project to any drive you select, even networked drives, each time you save.

Self-Healing Project Files

Web Studio SP2 now has the ability to detect a corruption in one of its Project files and “heal” it while it is being opened. If a corrupted graphic is detected, an error dialog will appear notifying you that it was found. The corrupted graphic will then be replaced on the page being read with a gray place holder graphic. The error dialog tells you what page the corrupt graphic was on.

High Resolution Printing

Web Studio 4.0 prints at the full resolution of your printer. With our new High Resolution Printing technology, text comes out razor sharp, graphics are stunning at their full resolution. And there is a full featured Print Preview feature with definable headers and footers.
