Web Studio comes complete with many of the components you'll want on your site. It is, however, impossible to provide a program that would provide everything everyone would want on a site. So, Web Studio includes a expansion architecture that enables you to add virtually anything you want to your site! Think of Web Studio as a container of "stuff", it comes with lots of "stuff" for you to use. If you want "stuff" it doesn't come with, that stuff is probably available on the web for free or for modest cost. Anything you see can be added to a Web Studio site. Some things are really easy, like adding an online-live calendar. You go to a calendar site and they give you some "stuff" to add to Web studio. Some things are more difficult. But, nothing you add to Web Studio will more difficult than adding it to any other web design software. In most cases it will be easier. Some examples of what people add to their sites: Calendars, password protected pages, shopping carts, Google advertisements, frequently asked question lists, sophisticated photo galleries, RSS feeds, blogs, members only sections, and more. |
