Web Studio's galleries contain backgrounds, buttons, photos, templates and other objects you'll need for your website. They are organized by the type of things they contain. So, go to the backgrounds gallery to drag a background color or graphic on to your page. Go to the Links gallery to drag a link to another page onto a button. Drag a button from the Button gallery. The galleries that contain graphics enable you to change the colors of all of the items in the gallery with a single click. You can add your own graphics to the galleries as well. If you create a cool button in PhotoShop, just copy it and paste it directly into the gallery. If it is a graphics file, just drag the file into the gallery and the graphic will be added to the gallery where you dropped it. Some galleries provide functionality in addition to graphics. Dragging a graphic from the Button gallery results in a dialog where you can add text to the button and choose its font, size, style and color. You can also turn any button into a rollover button with the Button gallery. The Special FX gallery contains a wealth of graphic and image processing features, all drag and drop of course. Want to turn a favorite photo into an antique photo; just drag the Antique effect onto it. Want to increase the color saturation on all of the photos on the page? Just select them and drag the Saturation effect onto any one of them, they'll all get the treatment. Want a Flash slide show? Just go to the CoolStuff gallery and drag the Slideshow onto a selection of photos. Want to add a link to one of your Favorite sites? Go to the Links gallery and you'll find all of your favorites there. WebStudio adds them automatically. Drag a favorite onto a button or some highlighted text and you site's visitors can enjoy your favorites now. Many of the features you see in other software in dialog boxes are done by dragging and dropping from the Web Studio galleries. You see the results of your changes instantly. |
