Hosting

In order for your website to be on the web you need hosting.

Hosting is nothing more than a computer that is physically connected to the internet itself. You purchase space on the hosting computer, usually by the month, and "upload" your site's files to the host.

Fortunately, Web Studio knows how to "talk" to hosing servers and how to properly organize your files and upload them to the host.

Web Studio also includes integrated hosting that simplifies the process even further. If you know your address and your credit card number, you know everything you need to host with our iHostStudio hosting service. This

iHostStudio is a full service hosting provider. You sign up for it right in Web Studio and when you've finished your hosting is ready for use. If you need a domain name, you can purchase that right in the program as well. If you already have a domain name you can transfer it to iHostStudio right in the program.

However, you don't have to use our hosting. If you have your own, Web Studio can talk to your host as well, it has built in FTP features to handle all of the hard work for you.

To upload your site to your hosting, you simply choose "Save Website to Internet" from the Website menu in Web Studio. It will then gather together all of the files for your site, create others, organize it all, and then upload it to your hosting. All this with one click of the mouse.

When you later find you want to edit your site, add some pages, modify some photos, change some prices, you simply open Web Studio, open your Project, go to the pages that need to be changed and make the changes. Then you upload the changed pages and your site is updated! Couldn't be easier.
