Web Studio Customer Testimonials

We have been using Web Studio for quite some time and just recently updated our web site with the new templates in Studio 4.0. It's great.

I am very impressed with the program, I have tried 4 different programs that claim to be easy to use and really didn't work the way they said. Web Studio 4 is the "ONE and ONLY" for me, it works very well!!!

I didn't have to learn HTML either. I put together a very functional web page with a minimum of effort and I didn't have to spend a month learning the system. I am learning more of what the program can do everyday, it is AWESOME!! Please pass my comments to the
developers, A GREAT PROGRAM in progress!!!!!!!!!!!

I was wondering if you had affliate marketing as I would love to promo this product !!!

I Love Web Studio!! I've used Dream Weaver, Go Live and Front Page and none of them close close to the ease of use Web Studio offers. I graduated (with honors) from the web design program at the Art Inst. of Pittsburgh.

Most of them would kringe that I was using a drag and drop program to design sites. But the time it saves me is worth any crticism. I'm not a great typer and spending hours typing HTML is just taking time I don't have.

Another thing I'd like to commend you for is, unlike Front Page, Web Studio doesn't seem to write code that's not needed. Anyway, thanks so much for creating this program.

This is the easiest software I've ever used...to do ANYTHING! R.G.

I started building web sites way back in 1998 when WebStudio was distributed by Sierra and I believe my latest site shows how Back To The Beach Software has evolved a truly remarkable software, Web Studio, into an over-the-top web-design program. T.C.

My site was created to promote a DVD about to be released at the end of summer.

At last count the Site contained over a hundred pages and is continually growing.

If it weren't for the simplicity of WS 4.0 I never would have attempted such an ambitious project.

Web Studio is a terrific product for anyone wanting to have an Internet presence.

Wow, am I happy I found 'Web Studio'! I struggled before creating a website then I met you!! What ease it was to create my site with all the 'toys' to hopefully draw customers. From using the "Scroll" for announcments on my home page to the slide show displaying our cottages, I had little trouble putting my site together. My challenge before was changing pictures or text. With 'Web Studio' this is not a problem! DAR.

This site is for our business that installs network wiring in commercial and industrial facilities. This site allows our customers and potenetial customers an oppotunity to see what we can provide for them ahead of time. P.C.

This site is an info site of my dental office and services I offer. It is a detailed site informing patients about the services with particular attention paid to describing and informing patients about those services offered and which otions might better serve them. It was entirely created with WEB STUDIO 4 utilizing almost every effect and animation enhancement supplied by WEB STUDIO. Have a look and if you live in Markham Ontario and like the site feel free to drop in and discuss any services offered. C.D.

My site is a professional photography site. We are a fully digital studio. We specialize in family, children, preschool and Little League photographs. We also offer electronic albums that will play on any PC no other software needed. The covers of the albums can be personalized or selected from our stock album covers. The albums are a great way to preserve not only family memories and genealogy, but also can be used to document items for insurance purposes, and are a great way for realtors to present their listings to prospective home buyers We also offer employee manuals and resumes in the electronic book format. These albums can be delivered either on CD or by e-mail. All done with Web Studio. M.P.

I got started with Web Studio back with version 2.0, and this is the third major (5th minor) revision of this site.

This site is dedicated to promoting tourism in Western Canada. The outdoor adventure industry is a major draw to people from all over the world. Where else can you catch a 60+ pound Lake Trout?

The site is almost completely powered by PHP and MySQL, and the top frame and the general layouts were generated by Web Studio. There is a search feature that can be as broad or as narrow as you like, so you can find many or just a few places that meet your criteria. Results are randomized every time, so everybody has an equal chance of being at the top of the list.

My site, JDJ Resources, was created with Web Studio and is a personal services firm focused on simplifying the lives of affluent individuals and their families by offering services to assist them in managing their day-to-day financial and administrative responsibilities. I.C.

I am not a professional to web design, but have attempted to build a one-stop shopping center using talking animated characters provided by www.sitepal.com. The characters help make shopping new and exciting and make the site a little more unique than your average shopping site. Please take a look. I used a template with the web studio 4.0 software I bought which makes the site very colorful and inviting to customers. I want to thank all those who helped respond to my many questions in this forum while I was building the site. Forum Member

Site is for local area community theatre. I like using the "signs" feature to create a 3-d or layered effect for backgrounds within the web site. I just like using Web Studio! S.D.

This is my website for my Christian Bookstore. The more I play with webstudio the more fun I have. M.S

My site is the history of my life as a musician in England from the early sixties to the present. It's rather a large site and has been running for around two years. I started it with 2.0 and I am currently using 4.0 as I still add things and tweak the site regularly. P.G.

This website was created using WebStudio 4.0. It showcases many of the features that WS 4 offers and that can be found on the WebElements 101 Page (look for the link off of the Web Design Page).

There's flash, mouse-over buttons, a movie, music, text effects, search engine, 2 stat counters, guestbook (using the attach-link option), thumbnails, a form using the html feature, animator, and the list goes on.

This is technically my first website to design other than a 1 pager using using several other program types and not to my satisfaction
This website was created using Web Studio 4.0 and no templates. All is from scratch. I started the website using the trial version and was so impressed with the ease and what the program provided that I purchased the program.
I would never have believed that it could be so easy and fun yet end up with something so professional looking.
Thank you for taking a look at what I was able to design using your product.

My site is a fansite for the Seattle Seahawks. It's generally updated daily with all the latest news and speculation.

Prior to this, I had NEVER ventured into the online world of HTML, web-building or anything dealing with graphics or anything else. I was able to complete my site in less than a month. It's unbelievable how simple you've made things. THANK YOU WEBSTUDIO!

This site is about Exeter, in the UK, mostly through the 20th century. It has stories contributed by people with connections to the city. One story is from a retired US Navy CPO. A section covers the historical buildings and places in Exeter with full use of popups for additional information and photos. A section covers the decades from the 1960's backwards with adverts, photos and trivia - extensive use of WebStudios thumbnail popups is used here. Also, famous people with connections to Exeter are given short biographies. The first page uses a GIF animation and a simple slideshow. And last, there is a multi-choice quiz to test your knowledge of the city I love. Forum Member

My site is about what my wife and I love to do... travel. We like to visit historic sites across the US, including long roadtrips to go places just because they are there; and also attend science fiction conventions near our home in the Southeast. It allows our family members across the country to easily keep up with what we are doing. I find the ease of use Web Studio offers in terms of page design and upload the absolute best around, but I prefer to create every page from scratch and make each one as unique as possible but still have a common style throughout. I can't say which page to date is my favorite, but my most noteable is my picture with my wife and... Captain Kirk himself, William Shatner! Also of extreme pride are pictures with NASA heroes from the Apollo age of space exploration.
My site is an unending work in progress and labor of love, updated everytime we leave home

The site was just started for our local members who are Security Officers protecting Three Mile Island.

I installed phpbb2 so we can communicate better because most of us are on shift work and don't get to see each other that often.

I also set up a page for photos and our elected officers. We are just starting out and everyone is getting on board and have made great comments.

My site is a who we are, where we are, and what we do. It is possibly the only combonation Fishing Lake, Computer outlet in the entire country. It's our family, business, fishing lake, Horse farm news, Computer information, family news, (possibly more than you might want to know about us) web site. A.M.

Coolest site ever! What's so impressive about this program is that someone like me, with NO computer graphics experience can build a site like this in less than 3 days of goofing off, with the Demo version! Not much content yet because the guys aren't giving me thier info. Enjoy. C.B.

Gallery of poster art separated into over 50 categories such as "movie posters", "cheap posters" and "funny animal posters".

Features that make the site outstanding:

This site is outstanding because it is profitable. Due to a combination of hard work, good site design and clever search engine optimization - my poster site has generated sales.
K.S.

It started with WebStudio 3 and ended up in version 4. I'm a photographer and my site is set up in gallery pages depicting some of my portfolios. It was fun to build with your software. M.W.

This site is for a New York area based video calibration company. They have a full range of services - from in-home calibration of projectors and monitors to video industry consulting (magazines, web sites, etc.).
I used Web Studio to do a site redesign, and have since been able to make quick and easy additions with the program.

Mywebsite is FastAndEasyGuitar.com where I market and sell my latest book "Fingerpicking Guitar - The Fast & Easy Way". I spent about 3 weeks checking out other web development tools for all the capabilities I needed for developing my webpage and easily settled on WebStudio. Since I was using my webpage to advertise and market my business, I needed a very versatile set of tools. I am very pleased with the way it turned out. Outstanding features of my site include: inclusion and linking of Visa and MasterCard logos to their websites; use of my MP3 files for on-line audio samples of guitar fingerpicking styles; use of my Adobe Acrobat Reader PDF files for samples of lesson book pages; integration of "buy now" sign with my e-commerce backend provider; easy automated upload of my webpage to my host site provider; page-to-page and external site linking.

Thanks to WebStudio, I have my business up and running!

I started out with Web Studio 1.0, then on to 2.0 and am now loving 3.0. I hope this site gives a feeling of what one can experience in person when visiting with us at The Garden Cottage Bed and Breakfast. With lovely pictures of the Gardens and Bedchambers we hope travelers will be enticed to stop and stay awhile. They can walk to the Utah Shakespearean Festival. Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park are both within a short drive. I love Web Studio and have taught several friends how to use it and they are loving it too. Forum Member

My site is devoted to photography in the UK. This is a site of both digital and 35mm photographs from the UK. Among the galleries there is a portraits gallery and a 'life in snaps' gallery. Further, there is a gallery and article devoted to the people of Woodland, Devon, a tiny parish in which I lived and where I photographed all the families in 1980 and 1985. D.C.

My site is fishing, family, fun web site. I am show casing it to show people how a complete novice can make a great web site using WebStudio and other "stuff" I gleaned from the Web. WebStudio has given me tools that a novice can use, and it's FUN!!! It is also a great way to let my son see what's going on back home, he's in the Navy. G.V.

Very Fun and Enjoyable website for Capt. Don's Fishing Charters out of Baltimore's Inner Harbor, fishing the Chesapeake Bay.

Homepage features Island Music audio clip, Animated flying bird, Fish buttons that jump into the water when holding down on click. Other buttons pop out of the water, scrolling text box of what's in-season. Animation of charter boat with engine sound, swinging fish hook and anchor animations. Links to Weather, Tides, Hotels, Restaurants. Paypal trip deposits, Map links, T-shirts, and history and specs of the charter boat. (click on boat photo for air-horn blast!)

Fishing is not a high-tech thing, and I thought the website shouldn't be either. It's all about FUN, and showcases the HUGE array and diversity of website elements that can be effectively incorporated into a site using WEBSTUDIO 3.0!

I hope everyone enjoys viewing it as much as I did creating it!

Six months ago I really had no idea about web design. I bought web studio thinking I'd make myself a nice simple site while the band saved up money to hire a pro web designer. And now, I have pro web designers emailing me to find out how I acheived certain graphics on my site.

The site was just redone for this month, and the colors and graphics compliment our hard rock sound very well. I custom made the nav bar links in photoshop (its not a font) and the whole site will automatically center due to its i frame architecture. I have GIF animations, many images and pics, and tons of custom grahics. Hope you like it.

This site was a complete redesign from the original. The actual site makeover was completed over a very long two-day span, with extra time spent on a logo / header that suited the client's final desired result.

The site's owner is one in a handful of distinguished video calibration experts in the world. He is a founding member of the Imaging Science Foundation, and is listed as having more experience in calibrating televisions / monitors than anyone else in the country.

He has been an exceptional client - allowing me to introduce small ideas that have changed the look of the site, while being open to any new concept as far as the look is concerned. When he had a concern I was able to address, redesign and load the changes to a test site for his approval very quickly.

The total down-time between the old site and new site was about 15 minutes, which was the time it took to save all of the original site files and then load the new ones.

Welcome to the website of the WinterSown Educational Organization, a registered educational not-for-profit. As I am a NFP I could barely afford to start my business so creating my own website was a must. I looked at several programs and was happiest with WebStudio because it is uncomplicated and gets the job done. Because of the wide range of users to the site I have kept the graphics simple and the majority of instructional text in large type. The site is growing in size as I add new content and is now over 60 pages, with many more planned. I've just begun the link portal starting with links to those who have already viewed the site as shown in my stats.

I am grateful that the site is coming along so well, I've been viewed by many universities and government agencies and todays stats show that I've had over 51,000 hits so far this month divided among 2,100 visits.

Thank you WebStudio for making it easy for me to teach on the net.
J.G.D.

My site is my first attempt at making a web page. I found Web Studio and the rest is history. The Web site is a family and friends page to go to. I update my son who is in the Navy, and other family and friends as to what we are up to. It still needs more fishing content but I am working on it on a daily basisand as soon as the ice is out will be hitting the water hard to put some of my content into it. G.V.

My website is a good example of what can be done in one weekend using WebStudio. I chanced upon a library book containing WS, I wanted to create my first-ever website, I spent an hour reading the book, and voila! I created this site with no past experience whatsoever, with no help from anyone but the WS help files and my trusty book. Besides, my photos need some attention. Thank you very much! Forum Member

I have several hobbies and wanted to show them off. I ran across a Web Studio add last October and decided to try my hand at designing a web page. First time for anything like this. I found it so simple to use I purchased it and bought our domain name. I spend a lot of evenings with my new hobby. Our web site! G.G.

I had no previous web design experience until I bought webstudio 1.5 months ago. I created this site for Reese Security where I work part-time for them building computers for their digital recorders. Since I wanted some more income on the side I suggested investing in a website. They didn't want to spend much money on advertising so a website fit the bill. I love the animations and tidy appearance of the website. The site exhibits many different formats with printer friendly pages, pdf files, and .avi files. I didn't want add too much graphics to the site because a customer that wants to shop for a product or read pages on a site can become frustrated if it is too busy or difficult to read. I hope you enjoy! J.J.

I officially launched www.tallmagazine.com in March of last year, but it has been overhauled completely twice more since then!
I believe the version you see now is the closest to my original vision of having an online community for tall people (I'm 6'9", to put things in perspective).

I would also like to say how impressed I've become of Web Studio. I admit I tried Adobe GoLive and Dreamwever, but ended up going back to Web Studio just because it had the right mix of do-it-yourself readiness with the ability of getting down and dirty with HTML if you needed to. I would also like to say how incredibly useful this forum has been in expanding my horizons and letting me realize just what Web Studio is capable of.

Thanks! Can't wait for the next version.
E.V.

I started this site about a year and a half ago. When I started I did not know a thing about creating websites or html. I owe alot of thanks to the web studio forum. I couldn't have done any of this without you guys. I think the unique thing about my site is that is close to 300 pages. I know I have alot to learn but hopefully you will like my site. J.J.

Until i used this program I have never created a webpage let alone a website. I have enjoyed being able to fix pictures of item using the camera feature. I am very proud of the colors and the graphics I was able to use to create a website that almost looks like i paid to have it done. C.J.

Web Studio has got to be the one piece of software that I've used more than any other I've ever had. We have a history together. It would be really hard to give up WS unless something REALLY better came along. (heh, heh ... it'll never happen!) Forum Member

I have been using Web Studio 2.0 for about a year and a half and just recently upgraded to Web Studio 3.0. I was looking for an easy to use program that I could understand and I certainly found it. I never in my wildest dreams thought I would be doing some of the things I'm doing. The program goes way beyond drag and drop.
Terry DeMars

The programmers of WS seemed to have this philosophy: "If someone can be a great car driver without knowing anything about how an automobile works, then it should be possible to make a program that lets people be great webmasters without knowing anything about HTML code." Paul Kinsella

I'd like to nominate my site for your User's Gallery page! It is a full online shop built using WebStudio. I think it shows WebStudio's powerful potential for producing serious commercial sites as well as excellent home sites. Before buying WebStudio (less than two years back) I had never produced a Web page in my life. I have now quit my job and am running a successful e-commerce business! I cannot say enough for WebStudio, and you are welcome to quote me on that. Mr. Twirly Cane

EVERYTHING I did on my site I could have done soooo much easier with this program. I just shake my head. Forum Member

I've been looking over (playing with) the upgrade, and I can't imagine wanting to go back to 2.0. Forum Member

I'm just loving this program. Tried out frames, rollovers, background on text--I love that. I have to get away from this computer, I have to get up early. Finally finished printing out the manual--holy cow I thought it would take me forever. Love it, love it. Thank you, thank you. Forum Member

I tried HotMetalPro 6.0 because somebody recommended it as easy to use, very WYSIWYG, etc., you don't have to know HTML blah blah blah. Well, I tried constructing a page using it,one that I had done with WS and it drove me bananas! HotMetal Pro is now gathering dust on the shelf coz I went straight back to WS. Forum Member

I've been using Webstudio 2.0 for over two years. I've tried other website builders, but gave up on them. Webstudio is by far the easiest product to produce great looking websites. I do a website for a local high school football team in Greenwood, Arkansas. Greenwood Bulldogs

Web Studio 2.0 eliminates the difficult and tedious parts of Web publishing so that you can be fun and creative. Alta Multimedia

It takes a lot of chutzpah for a Web page building program to call itself simple, but Web Studio is just that! Lockergnome

So how easy is Web Studio? If you can drag and drop, you can make Web pages. Finally, anybody can do it. I dare you to find an excuse NOW! Chris Pirillo

We were surprised by the many design galleries that are built into the program, ranging from backgrounds, buttons and dividers to animations, sounds and templates, including special effects, cool stuff, text and more. The number of items within each category is simply astonishing Gerhard Fischer

Finally, someone has come up with a web-weaving program for people with absolutely no experience in creating web pages - or patience for learning the HTML coding that generates a web page's look and style. Washington Post

The software is intuitive and easy to use, relying on a drag and drop interface to place text, graphics, animated GIFS and sounds, and to embed links in pictures, text and buttons. And that’s really all there is to it. Web Studio handles all the behind-the-scenes work and takes you through every stage of Web page design, from the initial layout to linking the pages together, checking that everything works and finally uploading your completed site on to the Net.
Lauren Beukes

Web Studio uses a simple drag-and-drop technique for building Web pages and has unlimited undo and redo, making it very easy for novices to use. CNN

The program is designed for people who just want to make a Web site on their own, without having to marry an HTML manual or invest in high-end Web development programs like Adobe's GoLive or Macromedia's Dreamweaver.
J. D. BIERSDORFER

Have you ever thought it would be nice to have your own web page? If you have had any inclination to do this but then started to look into HTML, frames, hypertext, and etc. and saw the complexities, you probably said “It’s not worth the effort.” Web Studio may be the answer you have been looking for. The ease of use makes it easy for a novice to create a web page. Robert Jones

Web Studio comes close to making Web design, at least for home computer users, pretty much a cinch. Philadelphia Inquirer
