Your trial ends in just a couple of days! |

This is the sixth and final email designed to help you get the most out of your evaluation of Web Studio. Today you will learn about hosting, trial hosting, previewing and uploading your website.
Previewing your website
Before you upload your website, you will want to see what it will look like on the web. Using the Preview commands on the ribbon, you can view your work at any time in a browser. Web Studio even gives you a choice to use the workspace as a browser or use your computer's default browser when you Preview.
If you want to check a page, then click the Preview Page command. If you want to check your page links, then click the Preview Links or Preview Website commands. These commands are in the Home tab and also in the Page tab.
Trial Hosting
Another way to see your site is to take advantage of our free Trial Hosting. This service is offered by our partner hosting company, iHostStudio.
When you Trial Host your website, iHostStudio gives you free access to your website for 24 hours. You can view your site and even send the link to others for them to see it.
Steps to getting your site on the web
1. Create your web pages and link them together.
2. Preview your site with the Preview Website command or Trial Host your site.
3. Obtain a Domain Name and a Hosting Company. Your domain name is the name you pick for your website. Your website is placed on the internet by the hosting company.
Hosting
Before you can upload your website to the internet, you need to have a hosting company. Although you can use any hosting company for your website, iHostStudio is the preferred service because it is designed to work hand in hand with Web Studio.
You can open an iHostStudio account by clicking Page tab > Upload group > Choose Hosting > iHostStudio Account Manager.
Uploading to the Internet
If you are using iHostStudio, you just need your User Name and Password. If you are using other hosting companies, you will need this information in order to upload:
User name.
This is your login so you can gain access to the company's computer.
Password.
This provides you with some security by making it difficult for anyone else to access your web space.
Remote Site Folder.
This is the exact location of where your website files reside on the hosting company's computer. This is similar to your street address. Not all companies require this or give you this information.
FTP Address.
This is the unique web address for the company that is providing the web space for you. This is similar to the city you live in.
Web Studio has two different dialog publishers to upload your website to the internet. One is design specifically for iHostStudio hosting and the other is designed to work for all other hosting companies.
